Circulation Pump for Cold Plunge and Chiller

Supreme® Aqua-Mag magnetic drive pumps, used to circulate water between your plunge and your chiller. One moving part, no seals to fail, and rated for continuous duty in fresh or salt water.

Choose the flow rate to match your chiller and tubing run. As a rule, a longer run and a larger chiller need more flow.

• Danner 5, 500 gph — small tubs and short runs
• Danner 9.5, 950 gph — the common choice for a single plunge
• Danner 18, 1800 gph — larger tubs, longer runs, or higher-output chillers
• Danner 24, 2400 gph — high flow
• Danner 36, 3600 gph — maximum flow

Pump placement

This pump is designed to run submersed, and that is how we recommend installing it in a cold plunge. Running it submersed keeps the pump primed, runs quieter, and puts no load on the inlet.

It can also be plumbed in line. If you do, take care at the inlet: hand-tighten the fitting, do not force it, and support the weight of the pipework so it does not bear on the pump body. The inlet is the part most likely to be damaged by an over-tightened or unsupported fitting.

Barbed adapter fittings are sized to the pump and tubing. Check the fitting guide before ordering tubing.

Returns and delivery

Change-of-mind returns accepted within 21 days of dispatch, subject to a 20% restocking fee, which is what Penguin Chillers charge us. Return freight is arranged by us and charged to you at cost, and you will have the exact figure in writing before anything is booked. Custom-configured units cannot be returned.
