These terms govern your use of amberandice.com and any order you place with us. By using this site or ordering from it, you accept them. The store is operated by Primbase Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 17193119), trading as Amber & Ice, 37 The Loom House East Street Mills, East Street, Leeds, England, LS9 8EU ("we", "us"). 1. Health and safety — read this one

We sell equipment. We do not give medical advice and we make no health claims. Nothing on this site is a statement that sauna bathing or cold immersion treats, cures or prevents any condition.

Articles, guides and other editorial content on this site describe published research for general information only. Reporting what a study found is not a claim about what any product we sell will do for you, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician. Where research is cited, read it in full and note its limitations — much of the literature in this field is observational and cannot establish cause.

Heat and cold immersion carry real physical risk. Consult a qualified doctor before using either product if you are pregnant, have any cardiovascular condition, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, a respiratory condition, impaired temperature sensation, or take medication affecting circulation, blood pressure or heat regulation. Do not use either product under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Never use a cold plunge alone if you are at risk of cold shock response or fainting, and never exceed the manufacturer's stated time and temperature limits.

Supervise children at all times. Follow the manufacturer's manual, which takes precedence over anything written on this site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Orders are for personal or business end use, not for resale, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

3. Products, specifications and images

We publish manufacturer specifications and check them where we can, but we do not manufacture these products. Dimensions, weights and wattages are as supplied by the manufacturer and are subject to their revision without notice. Wood grain, colour and finish vary naturally, and screen colours vary by display. Where a figure is approximate we say so; where a manufacturer won't confirm something, we say that too.

Measure your space, your access route and your electrical circuit before ordering. If a unit doesn't fit through your door or your circuit can't carry it, that is a change-of-mind return under our Returns Policy, and freight on these items is not cheap. Email us first and we'll check it with you.

4. Electrical and installation

Products requiring a dedicated circuit or hard wiring must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local codes. We are not responsible for installation, for the suitability of your electrical supply, for permits, or for any damage caused by incorrect installation. Improper installation usually voids the manufacturer's warranty.

You are responsible for confirming that your floor can carry the loaded weight of a cold plunge and for any structural advice you may need.

5. Orders and pricing

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm dispatch. Prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude taxes unless stated. We may decline or cancel an order — including after a confirmation email — where an item is out of stock, where we suspect fraud, or where a price or specification was obviously wrong. If we cancel, we refund you in full and explain why.

6. Shipping, returns and warranty

Our Shipping Policy and Returns Policy form part of these terms. Products carry the manufacturer's warranty as stated on each product page; we facilitate claims but do not extend or replace those warranties.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use this site unlawfully, don't attempt to breach its security, don't scrape it systematically, and don't submit false information. We may suspend access if you do.

8. Intellectual property

The Amber & Ice name, logo, site design and original copy belong to us. Product images and manufacturer descriptions belong to their respective owners and are used with permission. Don't reproduce our material commercially without written consent.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of use, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays caused by freight carriers, manufacturers, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.

10. Third-party links

Where we link to manufacturer sites or external resources, we don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you order. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
