Short answers to what people ask most.

Buying from us

Who is Amber & Ice?

An online store for home saunas and cold plunges, and an authorized dealer for every brand we sell. Each product ships from the manufacturer's US warehouse, and we handle any warranty claim for you. We're run by Primbase Ltd, registered in England (company no. 17193119), and our US subsidiary is Primbase LLC, registered in Delaware.

Are you an authorized dealer?

Yes. We buy direct from every brand we sell, so you get the full manufacturer's warranty.

How can I pay?

By major credit card, PayPal or Shop Pay at our secure checkout. We can't take card details over the phone.

Delivery

Is shipping free?

Yes, to the contiguous 48 states. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii or PO boxes.

When will it arrive?

Each product page shows an estimated delivery window for that item.

How is it delivered?

By freight truck to your curb. The carrier calls to book a time, and someone needs to be there to sign. Need it brought inside? Ask us before you order.

What if it arrives damaged?

Note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. Unpack soon and send us photos of any hidden damage by the deadline on the product page. We handle the claim.

Where's my order?

Email support@amberandice.com with your order number. We reply within one business day.

Fit and setup

How do I know it will fit?

Each product page lists the footprint and height. Measure your space and the narrowest door or gate on the way in, or ask us for a free fit check.

What power does it need?

Traditional saunas usually need a 240V circuit installed by an electrician. Many infrared saunas, plunges and chillers plug into a standard outlet. Each product page says which.

Do I have to assemble it?

Most saunas arrive as a kit. Plan on two people and a few hours.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Outdoor saunas are built for it. Chillers and cold plunges need protecting below freezing, so check the product page for limits.

Choosing

Infrared or traditional?

Traditional saunas heat the air to about 160 to 195°F, with stones you can splash for steam. Infrared warms you directly at a lower air temperature and usually plugs in.

How many people does it really fit?

The listed number is the most it seats. For room to stretch out, go one size up. Read our seating guide.

Which chiller do I need?

Match it to how much water your tub holds. Not sure? Call or email us with your tub size.

Is it safe for me?

If you're pregnant or have a health condition, check with your doctor first. We don't give medical advice.

Returns and warranty

Can I return it?

It depends on the brand, and each product page spells it out. Some allow returns within 21 or 30 days with a restocking fee. A few are final sale.

What warranty do I get?

The full manufacturer's warranty, at least one year. If something goes wrong, we handle the claim for you.
